Iceland small group tours for women, all year round

Our sightseeing tours are for women who want the whole picture: glaciers, waterfalls, black sand beaches, hot springs and the small towns in between, without driving a single kilometre yourself. Groups are never bigger than 14 women. We travel in our own minibus with a local woman guide who has driven these roads in every season and knows which café has the best cinnamon buns.

The Ring Road tour, in summer or winter

Route 1 circles the entire island, roughly 1,300 km, and we do it in nine days. The Summer Ring Road tour means midnight sun, puffins, whale watching off the north coast and a glacier hike. The Winter Ring Road tour means frozen waterfalls, snow on black sand, glacier lagoons and the northern lights on clear nights. Same route, two completely different countries.

Christmas and New Year’s Eve in Iceland

Spend seven days over Christmas with Reykjavík’s lights and markets, the Golden Circle, ice caves and hot pools. Or come for New Year’s Eve, when Reykjavík sets off more fireworks than seems reasonable, then go glacier hiking, snowmobiling and ice caving to recover.

And then there is Greenland

Our six-day West Greenland Adventure, led by our Greenland expert Sigrún Sól, takes you sailing among icebergs at the Ilulissat Icefjord, hiking on Disko Island and learning about Inuit culture from the people who live it. Flights between Iceland and Greenland are included.

Why travel with a women-only small group

Solo travellers make up most of our guests, and that is the point. You arrive alone and leave with a group chat that won’t go quiet for months. Hikes on these tours are easy to moderate, and nothing is mandatory. Private sightseeing tours for groups of all genders are available on request.
