By women. For women. From Iceland.
I’ve been guiding women through Iceland since 2013 and I kept noticing the same thing — something shifts when women travel together. The conversations go deeper. The risks feel smaller. The memories stick longer. In 2021 I founded Viking Women around that one observation. What started as three tours is now a community of hundreds of women from around the world, coming back to themselves one trip at a time.

Our Way
Guided by local women
Whether they grew up here or fell in love with Iceland later, our guides know these trails and roads by heart. They know the landscapes, the hidden gems, and how to make each day on the road or trail feel special.
Small groups, real friendships
Never more than 14 women per tour. Small enough that strangers become friends by day two.
Solo travelers are the majority
You won’t be the only one. Most of our guests travel solo – and leave with people they’ll keep in touch with for years.
