PAYMENT POLICIES

Once you have submitted your booking and personal details through vikingwomen.is, bank transfer and/or payment link,  you will receive a confirmation via e-mail.

​

We accept debit and credit cards: Visa and MasterCard.

If you prefer to pay for your booking with a bank transfer, please contact us here and send us all the information regarding the booking, name of the tour, accommodation and arrival date.

There is no service fee for processing Visa or MasterCard payments.

All Prices quoted on Viking Women are in ISK and per person, unless otherwise specified. All payments and refunds are due in ISK. Viking Women is not responsible for any changes in currency exchange rates that might occur from the time of booking until a refund is made.

CANCELLATIONS 

​

Viking Women reserves the right to cancel a scheduled trip if the minimum number of participants required for the tour has not been reached.

 

In the event of insufficient enrollment, Viking Women may cancel the trip up to four weeks before the scheduled departure date.

If the trip is canceled due to insufficient participant numbers, Viking Women will promptly notify all registered participants regarding the cancellation via email or phone.

Participants will be provided with a full refund of any payments made towards the trip, excluding non-refundable expenses incurred by participants, such as airline tickets, visa fees, or other third-party costs.

Viking Women regrets any inconvenience or disappointment this cancellation may cause and will make reasonable efforts to assist participants in finding alternative trip options or rescheduling for a later date, subject to availability.

Participants are encouraged to review the trip-specific details and confirm the trip's status closer to the departure date to ensure it meets the required minimum number of participants.

DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY

All persons participating in the Viking Women trips, do so entirely at their own risk.  On Viking Women trips, its staff shall not be liable for any damage, loss, theft, injury, accident, illness or death suffered by any person, howsoever caused during a Viking Women trips, hike, walk or excursion of any kind.

REFUND POLICY

​

In case of cancellation within 48 hours after booking, the amount paid is fully refundable.

For cancellations 60 or more days before the trip, you are eligible for a 70% refund of the trip price.

For cancellations 0-59 days before the trip, there is no refund.

No-show at pickup: no refund.

 

All cancellations must be made and confirmed by us, in writing (e-mail for instance), in conformity with business practices within the Viking Women industry.
If (for any reason) Viking Women cancels your tour you will get a full refund.
All travel vouchers, if issued, must be returned to us prior to any refund being issued.

Please note that all pick-up and drop-off times listed are as a guidance only and cannot be guaranteed. We are not liable for passenger delay due to failure to connect with other services or any costs associated with such delays.

No exceptions are made to our cancellation policy for any reason, including neither personal or medical, weather or other forces of nature, terrorism, civil unrest, strikes, international or internal (domestic) flight cancellations, nor any other reason beyond our control.

VALIDITY OF PRICES

All rates quoted or shown in our tariffs are based on current prices. All prices mentioned on this site include value-added tax.

Viking Women reserves the right to alter or change already published prices on the website without notice in the event of currency fluctuation, government taxes, or any such costs increases that is outside Viking Women's control.

INSURANCE

​

Viking Women does not provide the attendee with insurance of any kind.

All organisers, leaders or guides with Viking Women are not liable for any damage, loss, theft, injury, accident, illness or death suffered by any person, howsoever caused during a Viking Women's event, hike, walk or excursion of any kind.
