Where do I even begin? My family of 7 (4 adults, one teenager, and 2 grade schoolers) took a 4 day trip around wintry Iceland in December 2023. Saga and Rebekka were nothing short of amazing. Not only did they curate a fantastic, action packed trip- seeing all the sights to see, but they were also flexible with the itinerary when we wanted to spend more time in some places or skip others.

They made suggestions of how to change things and informed us of the pros and cons. Not to mention the conversation. They weren’t just driving us around the island. They were chatting with us about all of the interesting facts and stories about the island and the culture. Plus- the bus was super spacious and clean and had USB outlets for everyone. I would recommend Viking women to anyone planning a trip to Iceland. Truly knowledgeable. Well connected. And just enjoyable to be around.

Thanks again!!

In Feb 2019, my friend and I made a spontaneous booking to Iceland for 5 days.
We were lucky enough to be placed on one of Saga’s tours and experienced one of the best holidays of our lives!
Saga is truly inspirational and spending time with her was a blessing. We learnt so much from her in just a few days. She’s down-to-earth, funny and really passionate about her home and about people.
Our trips out were highly personalised - she spent time getting to know us all and made any adaptions to suit our needs. And then she’d cook delicious meals for us in the evenings!
For any women wanting to feel empowered by a breathtaking experience, book in with Saga!

She will encourage your love of adventure and give you the best possible experience.

I highly recommend her!

I spent a week traveling around the gorgeous scenery of Iceland with Saga and let me say--she is an incredible host. Not only is her knowledge of the country vast, she is also patient and caring for all of her guests. As a solo female traveler, Saga made me feel like I was just on a holiday with friends!

Whether it was a glass of wine, history lesson, or trek on a glacier - she guided us through those experiences with ease and intrigue. Her itinerary was the perfect combination of adrenaline-packed adventures and relaxation.

All said and done, I can't recommend Saga and Viking Women enough, solo female travellers and friend groups alike.

Iceland is a spectacular country! Spending 10 days with an amazing group of women and seeing it through our guide Saga’s eyes was magical. Saga is so welcoming, knowledgeable, supportive and made every activity a fun adventure.  All of our accommodations, transportation, food and activities were flawless.  From hiking the Laugavegur Trail to walking on glaciers, experiencing the power of Iceland’s countless waterfalls, exploring on horseback, sea kayaking around the Snæfellsnes Peninsula, and soaking in the many relaxing hot springs, I had the trip of a lifetime!

Hands-down, best trip experience of my life...
When I booked a 6-day tour around the ring road in Iceland, I didn't really know what to expect. My friend and I were picked up at our hotel by Saga and as it turned out, just by happenstance, our group was very small and all women; which in my opinion made the trip a more intimate experience. I had been on guided tours throughout Europe before and I will say the tour guide can make or break your adventure.

Saga is amazing! She is very knowledgeable and passionate about Iceland and will give you information about the places you are exploring as well as tell stories about the country, which I thoroughly enjoyed.  Her experience shows by how comfortable she makes you feel and by how encouraging and supportive she is, especially if you may be a little nervous or have difficulty doing some of the activities. Saga is very personable and welcoming, which made my experience feel like I was taking a road trip with close friends instead of a group of strangers.

When I make it back to Iceland, I will definitely look Saga up to see what tours I can take with her. I highly suggest you do the same!
